The Sarasota Olive Oil Company located in the historic Rosemary
District has fast become Sarasota's leading purveyor of the finest
and most unique extra virgin olive oils, vinegars, pastas and
speciality food items from around the world. Since July of 2004
we have strived through both our travels and worldwide contacts
to provide our customers with unique, unusual items that are not
widely available anywhere else. What also makes the Sarasota Olive
Oil Company so unique is that everything can be "taste tested"
prior to purchase to ensure that you receive exactly what you're
looking for. We know, because we have searched the world to bring
them to you. Many of the olive oils are estate bottled and of such
small, limited pressings that once they are sold for the year they
are unavailable until the next.
We maintain a base of approximately 50 first crush, cold pressed
extra virgin olive oils from staple countries like Italy, Spain,
Greece, France and the United States. Then we augment those with
"specialty" countries like Australia, Argentina, South Africa and
even Chile. From that level we rotate in "special" offerings.
All are very limited! In one of our exclusive offerings the 25 bottles
were hand carried from Lucca, Italy by the estate owners! In addition,
we also have the Sarasota Signature Olive Oils which we feel are so
special that we are willing to put our name on them.
With over 20 speciality sea salts, we have the largest single collection
in Florida. They range from smoked salts like hickory, apple, and alder
to truffle, Himalayan Pink, Maldon and Fleur de Sel.
The pastas and sweets are baked by artisan bakers in very small Italian towns.
They are so unique that they can only be found in limited basis here in the USA.
They are truly Italian!
Our "coffee bar" offers expresso and cappuccino drinks along with iced teas,
coffees and smoothies. We also offer Costa Rican, French Roast and flavored
coffees ranging from vanilla to even cinnamon! In addition, we also carry over
16 coffee beans which are custom roasted for us. At lunch time we also serve panini
sandwiches & cobb salads.
Don't forget to check out our "olive bar" where you can chose to mix or match over
12 various olive varieties or you can chose the Signature mix which is our unique
blend of olives, oils and spices. For your martini needs we have stuffed olives
ranging from blue and feta cheese, citrus and habanaro peppers.
